The CEMAPT, Center of Maritime Studies and Activities of the Port of Tarragona, has been fundamental in the projection of the Port and the development of the Costa Dock, a space reserved to sociocultural activities.

If you come to Tarragona, we recommend you to visit the port and enjoy looking the exhibitions of Costa Dock and the collections of the Museum del Port.

A fantastic exhibition where you can gaze the original objects of the Titanic and you will be able to know the true history of the most famous transatlantic in the world.

The Central Archive of the Port of Tarragona.

The Central Archive was created in order to preserve the documentary heritage of the port administration from its origins to the present day as a Historical File, but along the time has been receiving the whole administrative port documentation.

The most ancient documentation dates from the 1790, and since then it has been increasing even to make up the important present information collection, besides a great library, the newspaper library and the photographic file.

The Museum of the Port.

An old warehouse that has turned into a museum with a permanent exhibition of the maritime heritage of our coast.
