      Another year for the mayor celebration of Santa Tecla comes to the city. This celebration, declared Traditional interest holliday by the Generalitat de Cataluña in 1996, and declared touristic interest celebration by the government in 2005, is one of the most significant of the catalan countrys.

      Santa Tecla´s celebration comes from 1321, when the relic of the arm of Santa Tecla came to the city from Armenia. Later towards 1370, bishop Pere Clasquerí, sets the ritual of the party for the days 22 and 23 of September wich essence wehave keept until today.
