Beaches

The golden beaches of the Mediterranean and beautiful nature spots such as Gaià nature reserve are some of the city’s many attractions.
Tarragona is also ideal for practicing all types of water sports. The Royal Yacht Club has a large marina, and you can enjoy some light sailing offered by the Playa Larga Sailing Club.
Particularly noteworthy are El Miracle beach, which runs along the entire seafront of the city, and the Arrabassada beach, 5 km from the city to the north, a great place to practice sports like running or jogging.


Nightlife

Leisure time in Tarragona takes place in the streets, in the form of small terrace bars mainly in the Plaça del Fòrum and the Parte Alta, with a young and relaxed atmosphere. In the lower part of the city is an area with music bars that offer programmes every weekend, such as Sala Zero and the leisure area in the Port, with different musical environments to suit all tastes.
